Did you ever go through his series of felt rooms in Centre Pompidou until you reach the very last room where the felt makes you feel almost deaf? This was one of the most impressive sensual experiences with art I had. I also like his rabbits and the other morbid stuff, but most I like his statement that everybody is an artist and his environemental and political engagement. Check out his song "Sonne statt Reagan" :-)

One of my favourite artists. His huge fantasy machines built from trash, wheels, old toys, rusty pieces of metal and the like actually work and make noise.

I like his sculptures at Dia:Beacon in New York: very earthy, sensual with interesting material mixtures: piles of broken glas, mirrors and stones/earth etc. He plays with different optical views on the sculptures or installations.

I like a lot their "kitsch" photography and also performances where visitors can dress up weirdly and are then photographed in some specific environment (e.g. a "cheap" living room environment or hotel room etc.).

I especially like the way these Austrian-German art collective plays with all types of media, such as words, texts, power point presentations, theatre, drawing, painting, sound. Their performances are among the best I have seen. Also check out their videos (e.g. Köhler, Drachentöter and others).

Not much needs to be said about him I guess. Check out his hillarious fish fountain at Dia:Beacon in New York.

I saw this artist recently at the PS.1 in NYC and find his fotographs absolutely stunning. For me he is for the arts what Haruki Murakami is for literature. He combines modern (business) life in a funny way with elements from classic art works.

i love both her installations and videos, especially the one in this church at Biennale di Venezia 2005 and the video where a woman smashed car windows with a "flower-stick"
